Home 5 A Force For Good 5 Homes for Students Wins Operator of the Year at Student Accomodation Awards

Homes for Students has been named Operator of the Year at the Property Week Student Accommodation Conference & Awards, held last night at the iconic Wembley Stadium. The event is widely regarded as the leading celebration of excellence in the purpose-built student accommodation sector.

This year, Homes for Students was honoured to be shortlisted in three categories: Operator of the Year (Over 5,000 Beds); Best Student Experience in Accommodation for medium-sized providers through its premium brand Prestige Student Living; and Unsung Hero, recognising the outstanding contribution of Resident Service Assistant Olivia Rannard, based at St Andrew’s Gardens.

Winning Operator of the Year is an especially meaningful moment the business celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2025. In announcing the award, Property Week highlighted HFS’ growth to more than 200 properties and 55,000+ beds across the UK, along with continued investment in wellbeing, technology, ESG, and community engagement – all contributing to rising satisfaction scores and an increasingly student-focused experience.

This achievement is a testament to the passion and dedication of the teams nationwide. Every day, the Operations and Central Services colleagues work tirelessly to create welcoming, supportive, and inspiring environments where students can thrive.
