Homes for Students’ Global Student Living Index (GSLi) survey results are in, and the company has achieved Gold accreditation for the fourth year running.
The annual survey, widely regarded as one of the most important benchmarks within the sector, measures student satisfaction across accommodation providers in the UK and internationally.
This year, more than 14,000 students shared feedback on their experience living with Homes for Students, one of the highest response rates of any provider participating in the survey.
The results also showed significant year-on-year improvements in both Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Global Student Living (GSL) scores, with NPS increasing from 20 in 2025 to 29 in 2026, and the GSL score rising from 74.5 to 78.6. Both scores continue to outperform the sector average.
The GSLi survey assesses properties across seven key areas:
- Bedroom
- Value for Money
- Student Care & Support
- Environmental Impact
- Internet
- Condition & Quality
- Overall Management
Properties are awarded Platinum, Gold or Silver accreditation based on their performance across all categories.
A total of 30 properties achieved Platinum accreditation – the highest possible recognition. This marks a significant increase from 18 Platinum properties in 2025. In addition, 74 properties achieved Gold accreditation, up from 60 properties last year.
Property teams and managers will now review individual results in detail and work collaboratively to develop action plans that build on successes and address areas for further improvement.
These latest results reinforce Homes for Students’ ongoing commitment to delivering an exceptional student living experience and maintaining industry-leading standards across its portfolio.
