Homes for Students has secured Gold in the 2025 Global Student Living Index (GSLi) for the third consecutive year, reaffirming its leadership in the student accommodation sector and commitment to delivering exceptional home away from home experiences for its residents.

With over 14,000 student responses – more than any other PBSA provider in the UK, HFS continues to set the benchmark for quality, support, and satisfaction across its portfolio.

The GSLi assesses student accommodation providers across seven key performance pillars: Bedroom, Value for Money, Student Care & Support, Environmental Impact, Internet, Condition & Quality and Overall Management.

To achieve a Gold rating overall, each participating property must achieve Gold status in all seven areas.

In 2025, 18 properties earned the highest possible Platinum accreditation, a major increase from 10 in the previous year. These included: 33 Parkside, Beton House, Bridle Works, Crown House (Sheffield), Duresme Court, Eden Square, Fontenoy Apartments, Hannah Court, Limelight, Medici, Onyx, Plymouth Cross House, Rockingham House, Silk Mill, Symons House, The Cube, The Edge, and The Fitzalan.

An additional 60 properties were awarded Gold, up from 44 last year. In total, 61 properties improved their accreditation year-on-year, highlighting the continuous drive for excellence across the organisation.
