Homes for Students (HFS) has bolstered its senior team with the appointment of Group Legal Director Paul Balderson. In this newly created role, Paul will work across Homes for Students as well as recently launched European living platform Orla Living, and co-living and BTR company, VervLife.
Armed with a strong background in hospitality, with many transferable skills and experiences, Paul will oversee legal matters including management agreements, new subsidiaries and acquisitions as Homes for Students continues to expand. He will also work closely with clients, helping maintain high service standards.
Paul brings more than 14 years’ experience as a qualified legal professional to the role, having worked in both commercial private practice and senior in-house legal positions previously. During this time, Paul has built a reputation as a pragmatic, commercially focused legal advisor.
